What you'll be doing
Diagnose and troubleshoot to identify mechanical and electrical issues
Performing inspections and reporting on the condition of vehicles and scope of repairs required
Carry out scheduled maintenance checks and services on a range of heavy duty commercial trucks
Dismantle, repair, and major overhauls of diesel engines and components
Drive line faults diagnose, repair and overhaul including gearbox, clutch and differential
Test and replace faulty parts, ensuring all work meets manufacturer specifications
Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workshop operations and customer satisfaction while keeping to relevant safety standards and procedures
What You'll Bring
Experienced Fully Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic
Strong knowledge of Cummins engines is preferred but not essential
Proficiency in diagnostics skills, and hands on experience with repair and maintenance of diesel engines and associated components
Basic electrical diagnostic skills and repairs
Ability to read interpret technical manuals, schematics and work orders
A positive attitude with a strong commitment to safety and teamwork




Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
Current valid drivers licence
Current HR drivers licence is desired but not essential
Ability to work independently and in team environments
