Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, vehicles, and equipment.
Conduct thorough inspections to identify mechanical issues and develop repair plans.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely repairs.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and labour hours.
Training apprentices where required
Adhere to WHS guidelines and policies at all times.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in diesel engine technology.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Diesel Fitter/Mechanic.




Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Knowledge of diesel engine systems, including electronic control systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Driver's license.
Trade qualifications and certification.
