The Warehouse Team Leader is responsible for coordinating daily warehouse operations, maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring materials are received, stored, issued and distributed & reordered efficiently.
The role supports Council services by managing OneCouncil inventory functions, liaising with suppliers and internal customers, monitoring stock levels and resolving delivery or receival issues.
Key challenges include balancing operational demands, maintaining compliance with procurement, WHS and risk requirements, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring the warehouse remains safe, secure, organised and responsive to changing service needs.
The position requires sound judgement, transparent communication,
practical problem solving and a strong focus on service delivery.
The successful candidate will have proven warehouse or inventory experience, sound computerised inventory system skills, effective communication, leadership capability, and the ability to work safely under pressure.
They must hold a current MR driver's licence, understand WHS, EEO and dangerous goods requirements, and be undertaking or have completed relevant warehouse training.
Remuneration:base salary commencing at $73,596 gross per annum
+ 12% superannuation
+ performance payment 1% - 3.5% annual salary
+ annual award increase
