We havetwo full time positionsavailable forCommunity Assessment & Nursing Services RN's to join our team!
This is a excellent role if you enjoy the variety of being out and about in the community (3 days a week) and in our head office (2 days a week).
Both positions will have involvement with our Gold Coast and Logan nursing services runs.
This is where you go client to client undertaking a variety of nursing services such as wound management, catheter care and diabetes management.
We like our nurses to be able to build rapport with our clients that you will see week in and week out!
There are company cars available for use when you are out and about.
You will undertake clinical health assessments out in clients homes – primarily wound, continence and diabetes assessments.
Trust us, there is an art to writing up assessments in the NDIS space and we are more than happy to teach you our way of doing them!
You will write up the assessments as part of your two days in our Head Office based in Southport.
In this role, you will support a diverse range of clients and provide clinical care including wound management, catheter care, insulin administration, medication management, dysphagia support, and other nursing procedures as required.
While most work is based across the Gold Coast and Logan areas, some travel may occasionally be required across South-East Queensland, including Brisbane, North Brisbane and Ipswich.
For the right person with the right skill set there is the ability to get involved in training our community nurses and support workers.

About you
To be successful in the role, ideally you will have:
Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration
Community nursing and/or assessment experience is high valued
Ability to work collaboratively in our multidisciplinary team
Ability to assess, plan and implement client centred care within your scope of practice
Experience undertaking comprehensive health assessments, wound, continence and diabetes assessments including reports
Experience delivering nursing services such as wound care, catheter changes, diabetes management, medication management, dysphagia support
Strong time management skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Experience providing education, training and support to others
Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
Well-developed interpersonal skills that you use to establish rapport with clients
You will be a Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration.
A blue card and NDIS Worker Screeining Clearance or willingness to obtain is amust havefor this role along with a current Australian Drivers licence.
Remuneration is paid above the Nurses Award rate of pay.
