We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our friendly team on a part-time basis (Thursday and Friday initially), with the opportunity for additional hours during busy periods.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced public practice accountant who enjoys meeting with clients, providing practical taxation advice and becoming a trusted adviser rather than simply preparing tax returns.
Please note:This is anoffice-based rolelocated in Burleigh Waters on the Gold Coast.

About the Role
The successful applicant will work closely with our senior accounting team and will be responsible for managing an established portfolio of long-standing clients.
Duties include:
Conducting face-to-face meetings with individual and business clients
Preparing and reviewing financial statements and income tax returns
Tax planning and business advisory services




Responding to client enquiries by telephone and email
Assisting clients with taxation and business matters
Working collaboratively with our experienced accounting team
Providing practical taxation advice and building long-term client relationships
About You
To be successful you will have:
At least5 years' Australian public practice accounting experience
Strong knowledge of Australian taxation legislation
Experience preparing Individual, Company and Trust tax returns
Confidence conducting client meetings independently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Clear spoken English
Experience using Xero (preferred)
