Beachcomber Resort Port Macquarie is a family orientated resort style complex, consisting of 22 self-contained units in Port Macquarie on the North Coast of NSW.
Set within 400 meters across from Town Beach and a 8 min walk into Port Macquarie Town Centre.

We are currently seeking a reliable, experienced, driven and highly capable live in resort manager/couple for our 4-star holiday accommodation resort.
This is a very hands-on role that would suit a self- driven couple.
A strong customer service background along with a strong communication skills background with versatility across all aspects of the business would be desirable to have success in this role.
The Resort Manager is responsible for driving the successful operation of the property.
This includes managing interactions with unit owners, body corporate, suppliers, staff, and guests as well as responsibility for day-to-day operations, trust accounts, reporting, licensing and compliance.
The ideal candidate will have:
Relevant experience in hospitality
High attention to detail
Resort management experience preferred but not essential
A passion for creating exceptional guest experiences
Strong organisational and business/financial management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Professional presentation and personable disposition
Strong problem solving and dispute resolution skills
Some social media experience would be desirable

NSW Real Estate License desirable but not essential
Knowledge of Guest Point software – otherwise training will be provided
Have a positive can do attitude and willingness to take on any task
A typical day in this role may include:
Ensuring all resort grounds & facilities are well-presented, clean, secure and optimised for an excellent guest experience
Managing bookings for our guests
Organisation of room cleaning rosters
Reviewing and reporting on monthly financial results
Maintenance and growth of the existing letting pools
Dealing / negotiating with Trades & suppliers
Managing guest or unit owner complaints in a professional & timely manner
Identifying opportunities to maintain and grow the letting pool
Liaising with the external / online travel reservations
Monthly reporting to unit owners on performance- statements
Review performance and discuss strategies for increased yield & occupancy
Receipting trust account payments
Reviewing and updating policies & procedures to ensure compliance and professional management of the business
Attending meetings with the resorts strata committee when required
Identifying and implementing strategies to optimise business operations, reduce costs and improve guest experience
Responding to online reviews
The role requires living on-site with a competitive salary package on offer including accommodation in a 2-bedroom unit with WiFi and underground secure car park.
