TankTec is looking for a motivated and reliable Tank Manufacturer / Delivery Driver to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on role offering plenty of variety.
You will be involved in manufacturing high-quality corrugated steel water tanks in our workshop before delivering the finished product to customer sites throughout Tasmania.

About the Role
Reporting to the Production Manager, your duties will include:
Manufacturing and assembling corrugated steel water tanks.
Operating hand tools, power tools and production machinery.
Fabricating, drilling, cutting, fastening and sealing steel components.
Conducting quality inspections to ensure products meet our high standards.
Loading and unloading raw materials and finished products.
Safely loading completed tanks onto delivery vehicles.
Delivering tanks and associated products to customer sites across Tasmania.
Safely unloading tanks on-site and assisting customers where required.
Maintaining delivery vehicles, equipment and a clean, protected work environment.
Working collaboratively with the production team to meet production schedules and delivery deadlines.
Following all Workplace Health & Safety procedures at all times.
About You




To be successful in this role, you will have:
A current Australian Driver Licence (essential).
Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, construction or a similar hands-on environment.
Confidence using hand and power tools.
Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
The ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and manual handling.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
A commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Desirable (but not essential):
Forklift Licence.
Experience operating workshop machinery.
Previous delivery or truck driving experience.
MR or HR Licence (or willingness to obtain).
