This is such an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified lawyer to join our well-established Sydney Construction practice group!
The Dentons Construction team offers decades of experience and a long-held reputation as a leader in the sector, operating with market leading initiatives and technology, both locally and internationally.
This rare and permanent graduate chance will work primarily with our construction litigation team but will also expose you to a variety of front-end drafting matters relating to commercial and residential building and development, infrastructure, and engineering projects.
You will assist with a broad range of building, construction, engineering and infrastructure agreements (including operation and maintenance agreements, project agreements, supply agreements, consultancy agreements and other related project documentation) and act for clients in the public and private sector, including principals, contractors, subcontractors and consultants.
You will work in a supportive and friendly environment and learn from an experienced team of senior lawyers eager to assist you inyour professional development and growth.

About You

In addition to a strong academic record, we are looking for someone with the following capabilities and attributes:
Pre or post-admission experience, or a genuine interest, in building and construction law;
In the absence of construction experience, commercial litigation experience;
An ability to build rapport with colleagues and clients;
Excellent attention to detail and research skills;
An innovative, problem solving mindset;
Good computer literacy; and
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
You will ideally be admitted already or due to be admitted very shortly, and available to start as soon as possible.
