Pacific Optics is a leading provider of consumer lifestyle, electronics and accessories products across Australia and New Zealand.
We are looking for a Territory Manager to service, grow and win customers across Queensland.
This is a field sales role for someone who looks after existing customers brilliantly and keeps hunting for recent business.
About The Role
As Territory Manager you are the face of the business in your territory.
You service and grow existing accounts, present and sell the range, merchandise and set up displays, run your journey plan, and meet your sales and KPI targets.
New business is a core and continuing part of the role: you actively prospect and open new accounts, and grow range in the accounts you already hold.
You report to the National Field Sales Manager.
Your territory
This is a permanent, full-time role covering a Queensland territory.
The role is primarily road-based and follows a structured journey plan across your territory.
What You Will Do
Service, retain and grow existing customer accounts
Actively prospect and win new business across your territory, from independents through to larger buying groups
Grow range and categories within the accounts you already hold
Work within the tiering system to give the right level of support to the right customers
Present,
promote and sell the range using strong selling techniques
Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis to meet customer needs
Merchandise and set up displays to a high standard
Maintain your journey plan and visitation schedule
Analyse territory and market performance and report regularly
Meet sales revenue and KPI targets
About you
Proven sales experience.
Ideally in a territory or field sales role, within FMCG or general merchandise.
Pharmacy channel experience is a plus.
Well regarded but not essential.
A hunter as well as a farmer.
You grow the accounts you hold and keep opening new ones.
Strong selling, negotiation and communication skills.
Able to build lasting customer relationships.
Organised and self-managing.
You plan your own journey and manage your time on the road.
Good with CRM and data.
And a keen eye for merchandising and display.
Current driver's licence and willingness to travel.
The role is primarily road-based.
What is on offer
Real ownership of your territory, from servicing existing customers to winning new business
Autonomy and time on the road rather than behind a desk
A growing business with a strong portfolio of trusted brands
Remuneration discussed with shortlisted candidates
