This role will initiate activities to reduce outpatient waiting times, improve clinic efficiency, enhance the patient experience and support clinic staff in the delivery of high quality, timely care.
The Role
An opportunity has become available for aClinical Nurse (Urology Surveillance)to joinGold Coast Health(GCH) where the focus of our ******-robust team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Establish and participate in clinical audits and quality improvement activities; including referral screening
Collaborate with Specialty Clinic Nurses to assist alignment of clinics on a day-to-day basis
Review patient bookings and ensure required investigations have been completed prior to patient arrival
Actively engage in the monitoring of data quality and management information utilising patient information systems
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)
