Job description
The Queensland Council of Unions is seeking an experienced Industrial Policy & Research Officer (Gender Equity) to join the Queensland Women Rise team.
This senior role will lead research, industrial policy development and strategic initiatives to improve outcomes for working women across Queensland.
Working closely with affiliated unions, the successful applicant will contribute to enterprise bargaining, workplace policy development, industrial education and advocacy.
We are looking for someone with:
Experience in industrial relations, enterprise bargaining or industrial advocacy;
Excellent research, policy development and writing skills;
Knowledge of workplace issues affecting women and contemporary industrial relations; and
A commitment to gender equality and the values of the trade union movement.
Full time fixed term contract position until 30 June ****
Salary:From $133,****** per annum plus 15% employer superannuation
