We are currently seeking an experiencedHeavy Diesel Mechanicto join our team based inPort Hedland.
This is aresidential positionworking a2 weeks on, 1 week off roster, and we are looking for candidates who live in or are willing to relocate to the Port Hedland area.
The Role:
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing our growing fleet of KEE Hire equipment.
The role is primarily workshop-based, with field service work required when needed.
You will work on a wide range of mobile plant and equipment, including but not limited to rollers, dozers, graders, dump trucks, excavators...This is a varied role where no two days are the same, offering the opportunity to work on a diverse fleet while supporting our operations throughout the Pilbara.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Carry out servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance on heavy mobile equipment.
Diagnose mechanical faults and complete repairs efficiently and safely.
Attend field breakdowns when required.
Complete inspections and identify maintenance requirements.
Maintain accurate service records and job documentation.
Ensure equipment is maintained to a high standard and ready for hire.
Work safely and contribute to a clean and organised workshop.
Required Experience and Skills:
To be successful in this role, you will have:




Australian recognised Heavy Diesel Mechanic trade qualification (or equivalent).
Previous experience servicing and repairing heavy mobile plant or earthmoving equipment.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Current Australian Driver's Licence.
A commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
