First Year Apprentice Fitter/turner, Fitter/welder – Vehicle Loading Cranes – Yatala, QLD
Crane Tech Industries is one of Australia's leading specialists in the installation, servicing and repair of vehicle loading cranes. Based in Yatala, we work with leading manufacturers including Palfinger, Unic, Tadano, Fassi, HIAB, Maxilift, Effer and HMF.
We are looking for a motivated First Year Apprentice to join our growing team. Someone who:
Has a genuine interest in mechanical engineering or heavy vehicles
Enjoys working with their hands and solving problems
Is reliable, punctual and eager to learn
Has a positive attitude and solid work ethic
Can work well in a team
Takes pride in producing quality work
Holds a current driver's licence (preferred)
Has completed Year 10 or higher
Previous workshop experience is an advantage but
not essential

Key tasks & duties
Quality metal fabrication for installation of cranes and other loading equipment to heavy vehicles
Manufacturing and installation of hydraulic hoses and hydraulic equipment
Installing electrical wiring circuits
Installing power take-offs and hydraulic pump assemblies
Hydraulic and mechanical equipment repairs
Crane periodic maintenance and rebuilds
