Position Purpose
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Metal Fabricator to join Our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components to meet our high-quality standards. You will work closely with Our team to interpret blueprints, operate welding equipment, and ensure precision in every project.
As a Metal Fabricator, you will report directly to the factory supervisor collaborating to maintain safety standards, optimize production efficiency, and contribute to the successful completion Of various projects.
Responsibilities:
Studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements
Selecting, cleaning and preparing metal stock




Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, name cutting torches and metal cutting machines
Shaping and bending metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, and by heating and hammering
Aligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments
Joining metal sections using various welding techniques, bolting and riveting
Examining welds for width Of bead, penetration and precision
Finishing products by cleaning, polishing, filing and bathing in acidic solutions
Cleaning and smoothing welds by filing, chiseling and grinding.
Skills Required:
The requirements Of the candidate are as follows
Certificate Ill in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Welding) (At least three years Of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification)
Demonstrated proficiency in various welding techniques
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
Ability to inspect and test welds for strength and quality. Experience with metal fabrication, cutting, and grinding tools.

Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a rapid-paced environment.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
