Lachlan Shire Council is looking for a motivated and dedicated person to join our Lake Cargelligo Water & Sewer Team in the position of Plant Operator Reticulation Maintenance!

In this role, you will perform a variety of duties from labouring to plant operation, typically related to the operation, maintenance, repair and installation of water and sewerage reticulation, pumping stations and reservoirs.

This position is Full-time, based in Lake Cargelligo NSW.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Medium Rigid Licence or able to obtain within 3 monthsPrevious work related experienceConstruction Induction Card (White Card)Backhoe Competency Good customer service and communication skillsBasic reading and writing skillsDemonstrated knowledge of plant maintenanceWell-developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writingThe ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.

Salary and Conditions:

Salary range: $2,315 to $2,488 per fortnightStarting salary will be determined based on qualifications, skills,



and experiencePosition classified at Grade 5 within Council's Salary StructureEmployment conditions in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award
