About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Powerhouse HV Diesel Fitter to join our Mobile Maintenance Department at Eloise Copper Mine.
This role is responsible for the servicing, maintenance and breakdown support of the site's Powerhouse diesel generators, which supply power to both the mine site and camp.
The successful candidate will work closely with maintenance and operational teams to ensure generator availability, reliability and secure operation.
Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:
Carrying out planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance on Powerhouse diesel generators, including Cummins generators.
Diagnosing faults and completing repairs in a safe and timely manner.
Supporting reliable power supply to site infrastructure, mining operations and camp facilities.
Completing servicing, inspections and maintenance activities in line with site requirements.




Liaising with OEMs, contractors and parts suppliers where required.
Completing general workshop and maintenance duties as required.
Maintaining a strong focus on safety, equipment reliability and continuous improvement.
This position is offered on a 8/6 day shift roster FIFO from Townsville or Brisbane.
Local candidates from Cloncurry or surrounding communities can commute via bus from Cloncurry and are encouraged to apply.
Accommodation is provided onsite at Eloise Copper Mine, located approximately 65km from Cloncurry.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Certificate III in Diesel Fitting or equivalent trade qualification.
Experience maintaining diesel generators, preferably in a Powerhouse, mining, heavy industry or remote site environment.
Experience with Cummins generators will be highly regarded.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Manual Queensland driver's licence.
A strong commitment to safety, reliability and quality workmanship.
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
The ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment and police clearance.
