About us:
At Central Queensland Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (CQMHAODS), you'll join a passionate team delivering specialist mental health care to more than 250,000 people across Rockhampton, the Capricorn Coast, Gladstone, the Central Highlands and Banana.
Based in Rockhampton, our Acute Care Team provides specialist mental health assessment, treatment and crisis support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

About the role:
Partner with consumers, families, carers and healthcare professionals to deliver person-centred, recovery-focused care.
Provide high-quality, evidence-based mental health assessment, treatment and support to consumers and the wider community.
Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate comprehensive care in line with professional standards, best practice and the National Standards for Mental Health Services.
Bring your clinical expertise,
compassion and teamwork to a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
About you:
A Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) and current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) through AHPRA as a Division 1 Registered Nurse.
A relevant postgraduate qualification in mental health—or a commitment to completing one within an agreed timeframe.
Advanced clinical skills in supporting people with serious mental illness, along with a strong understanding of the Queensland Mental Health Act **** and the National Standards for Mental Health Services.
A team-oriented approach, strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to delivering person-centred, recovery-focused care.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $139,931 p.a. is comprised of:
An hourly rate between $***** - $***** p.h.
*****% employer superannuation contribution
17.5% leave loading
