We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Casual Food Safety Trainer & Assessor to facilitate our Food Safety Supervisor training courses on a weekly or fortnightly basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about food safety and enjoys sharing their knowledge with learners in a supportive and interactive environment.
About the Role
As our Casual Food Safety Trainer & Assessor, you will:
- Facilitate engaging Food Safety Supervisor training sessions from our Bibra Lake Campus.
- Deliver training and assessment for:
- SITXFSA005 – Use hygienic practices for food safety
- SITXFSA006 – Participate in safe food handling practices
- Assess learner competency in accordance with training package and RTO requirements.
- Maintain accurate assessment and attendance records.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Ensure all training is delivered in line with Standards for RTOs and organisational policies.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must hold:
- TAE40122 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- SITXFSA005 - Use hygienic practices for food safety.
- SITXFSA006 - Participate in safe food handling practices.
- Demonstrated industry experience within the hospitality or retail food services sector.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Solid organisational and time management skills.
- A passion for developing learners and supporting their success.
- Experience working within a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
- Current knowledge of food safety legislation and best practice.
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).
