The Role
Punjabi Digital Content Producer responsible for the production and delivery of distinctive and innovative multi‐platform content (podcasts, articles, and audiovisual) for the Punjabi‐speaking audience.
Undertake journalism and content production tasks across multiple platforms.
Proficiency speaking, writing, and typing in Punjabi and English; may include a language assessment.
Source leads and produce regular online content to meet traffic and KPI targets.
Experience with Facebook, X, and Instagram is an advantage.
Plan and manage digital content campaigns for key community events.
Contribute to cross‐language initiatives and divisional objectives.
Maintain robust administrative abilities: accuracy, numeracy, organisational skills, and advanced editorial skills.
Use systems and equipment to edit and publish content.
Track record of producing original stories about the Punjabi‐speaking audience in Australia within tight deadlines.
Maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders.
About You
Qualified broadcast journalism experience, able to plan, prepare, produce, present,



and deliver multi‐platform content.
Ability to write, compile, and present news, sport, and current affairs from a variety of sources.
Computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
Proficiency in English and Punjabi, both written and spoken, with clear broadcast delivery.
Requirements
Full working rights in Australia; must reside in Sydney or Melbourne.
Permanent, full‐time position.
Will undertake language and journalist assessments as part of the recruitment process.
