Our client is a quick-growing Australian non-bank lender, providing tailored funding solutions to small and medium-sized businesses. As they continue to grow, they're looking for an experienced Loan Portfolio Manager to join their cooperative team and play a key role in managing an established commercial loan portfolio.
About the Role
This is a portfolio management role rather than a traditional credit assessment position. You'll be responsible for managing commercial lending facilities after settlement, ensuring loans continue to perform throughout their lifecycle.
Working closely with borrowers and internal stakeholders, you'll review loan variations, extensions and restructures, monitor portfolio performance and help deliver a seamless client experience while maintaining sound credit outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage an existing portfolio of commercial lending facilities.
Review loan variations, extensions and restructures.
Monitor portfolio performance and identify emerging risks.
Manage post-settlement loan administration and documentation.




Partner with borrowers and internal stakeholders to resolve portfolio matters.
Support continuous process improvements and portfolio reporting.
About You
You'll have experience across commercial lending, credit operations, portfolio management or relationship management, along with:
5+ years' experience within commercial lending or credit.
Knowledge of commercial lending documentation and loan servicing.
Solid stakeholder management and communication skills.
The ability to assess risk, prioritise workloads and manage multiple deadlines.
Experience within private credit or non-bank lending is highly regarded.
