The Role at a Glance

Title: Quality Assurance & Compliance Officer – Lending (Quality Assurance Officer)

Salary: $90,000 – $100,000 + super

Type: Full-time, permanent, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (core hours) with 1 WFH day per week post-probation

The Opportunity

Infinity is a high growth financial services business — but we don't operate like a bank. Our lending operation moves at pace and scale, which means quality assurance and compliance can't sit on the sidelines. They need to be embedded, practical, and commercially aware.

This role sits squarely on the finance side of the business, close to credit decisions, approvals and post approval activity.

It's designed for someone with a credit background — a credit analyst or assessor — who understands lending risk and is ready to step off the tools of pure assessment into a broader role with more influence. The QA and compliance function itself is growing, so this role isn't static.

As the business scales, so does the prospect to broaden scope and responsibility.

What You'll Be Doing

This is a hands on, operational role focused on lifting quality across lending — not a policy only position.

You'll Be Responsible For

- Reviewing loan approvals from a quality and regulatory perspective
- Supporting internal audits and compliance reviews across lending and settlements
- Contributing to compliance and QA training for finance and lending teams
- Providing feedback and recommending improvements to credit, approval and QA processes
- Responding to operational compliance queries with clear, practical guidance

- Interpreting regulatory requirements and translating them into workable business advice
- Applying strong working knowledge of NCCP Act, AML/CTF Act, Privacy Act

Assisting With Internal Dispute Resolution (IDR)

- Gathering relevant credit and file documentation
- Preparing structured, regulator ready responses
- Ensuring required timeframes and frameworks are met

Who This Role Is For

- Has experience as a Credit Analyst or Credit Assessor (bank, non-bank or brokerage)
- Understands lending policy, approvals and credit risk
- Has exposure to complaints, disputes or IDR processes
- Wants to broaden their career while staying close to lending
- Cares about doing things properly — especially when no one's watching
- Takes ownership and follows issues through to resolution

Why High Performers Choose Infinity

- A genuine pathway off credit assessment tools into broader QA and compliance
- A growing function with room to expand responsibility and impact
- High trust environment where quality work is visible and valued
- Free access to Infinity programs — the same strategies that help clients cut decades off their loans
- Access to investment property opportunities available to staff
- A culture built on ownership, accountability, and doing the right thing

Giving Back Matters To Us

- $250,000+ raised at Christmas 2024 for the Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal
- $1,000,000+ raised at Christmas 2025 — with even bigger goals ahead

Ready to Step Off the Tools and Broaden Your Horizons?

If you're detail driven, credit savvy, and ready to play a bigger role in protecting lending quality we're looking for you.
