About The Opportunity

As a result of continued growth and success across all our brands we have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager.

Acting as a right hand 2IC to the DC Manager the main function of this role will be to lead the operational team in a complex DC environment working with multiple product categories and customer requirements with the goal of exceeding standards of excellence.

You will be instrumental in helping drive the roll out and implementation of SAP EWM at our new site in Canning Vale, Perth.

Responsibilities

- Lead, motivate and develop the operational Team in the Canning Vale DC, with both direct and indirect reports
- Drive and lead the implementation of SAP EWM
- Ensure strict adherence to WHS compliance,



vigorously promote a culture of safety
- Maximise efficiencies and cost control through the effective management of labour planning
- Responsible for process continuous improvement and root cause analysis of problems
- Ensure a high standard of delivery in outbound operations including daily pick volumes
- Oversee all inbound activities and ensure completion within allotted windows
- Maintain and oversee all inventory related activities
- Ongoing preparation of operational and capital expenditure budgets and forecasts
- Manage and maintain fleet of MHE, ensure appropriate vehicles are available to service excessive volumes
- Maintain a high-level standard of warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping, acting as Facilities Site Owner

Qualifications

- Previous Logistics/Supply Chain experience, leading and guiding teams of direct and indirect reports
- Strong experience and technical capability with WMS, experience in SAP EWM highly regarded.
- A safety-first focus with understanding of LTIFR and TRIFR
- Commercially astute with an understanding of cost drivers within DC operations, previous experience budgeting will be an advantage
- Proven experience in reporting and analysis.
- Adaptable and broad thinking, ability to switch from BAU to strategic thinking
- Strong stakeholder management, particularly geographically dispersed and cross-time zones
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, ability to work both cross functionally and part of a team
