We’re looking for a Territory Sales Manager to join our Melbourne team. This role is all about building strong relationships, driving new business, and supporting customers with end-to-end solutions for buying and selling equipment.

What you’ll do

- Drive sales in your territory through proactive prospecting and account management.
- Build and grow lasting relationships with dealerships, owner-operators, and new customers.
- Sell across all Ritchie Bros. multi‑channel platforms.
- Develop and manage your sales pipeline in Salesforce, using territory playbooks and strategies.
- Prepare and deliver tailored presentations to secure new business.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of sales and outstanding customer service.




- Travel within your territory and attend auctions to build networks and grow opportunities.

What you’ll bring

- 3+ years’ experience in structured outside/field sales with a proven record of exceeding targets.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
- A self‑motivated, competitive, and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Strategic thinking, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing setting.
- Experience in heavy/industrial equipment sales is an advantage.
- Clean, valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
