Applications Are Invited For The Post Of Reserve Police Constable Within The Bermuda Reserve Police (BRP). The BRP Are Looking For Applicants Who Are Friendly, Outgoing, Community Driven And Wish To Volunteer Their Time To Give Back To Their Community And Assist In ‘Making Bermuda Safer.’ The Successful Applicant Must Pass The Following Evaluations To Be Considered For The Reserve Foundation Course (RFC)
Police Service Initial Recruitment Test (PIRT) Job-Related Fitness Test (JRFT) – (Level 5.4 ) Security Checks Suitability Testing Psychological Evaluations Medical Examinations Interview Board
The RFC lasts for approximately sixteen weeks, consisting of two nights per week (6-9pm) and two full weekends with on-the-job training, exams, and practical exercises. The academic learning on this course is undertaken and coincides with serving as Reserve Police Constables, which involves active frontline duties alongside officers from the Bermuda Police Service and/or non-operational duties.

Requirements
Applicants must have a Bermuda School Diploma (BSD) or equivalent. Must be between the ages of eighteen (18) and Sixty (60) years by the start of the RFC. Applicants must be in good physical and mental health. Applicants must be able to speak, write and understand English fluidly. Applications from Bermudian, Spouse of a Bermudian, Permanent Resident Certificate Holder, non-Bermudian Resident work permit holders or their spouses who legally reside in Bermuda are eligible to apply. Applicants must be on island to qualify as a Reserve Constable.
