THE ROLE

We’re looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to join the team at The Haymarket Hotel. You’ll run shifts, lead the team on the floor, own compliance, and keep the venue performing to standard every trade — reporting directly to the venue licensee with the support of a group operations team behind you.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

- –Lead and supervise the team across all allocated shifts
- –Open and close the venue to procedure; complete shift reports and handovers
- –Maintain service standards, venue presentation, and customer experience
- –Manage cash handling, till reconciliation, and end-of-shift balancing
- –Ensure RSA, RCG, food safety,



and WHS compliance on every shift
- –Support onboarding, training, and team development

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

- –Proven experience in pub, hotel, or high-volume venue management
- –Hands-on leadership style with explicit, confident communication
- –Current RSA (required); RCG preferred
- –Sound cash handling and compliance knowledge

WHAT WE OFFER

- –$80,000 – $85,000 + super based on experience
