Calvary Lutheran Primary School is seeking an experienced and passionate Classroom Teacher to join our dedicated team for the 2026 school year.
This is a Part Time, contract position commencing at the beginning of Term 3 2026.

About the Role
As part of a collaborative team, you will work alongside other passionate educators to provide high-quality learning and teaching experiences. You will be responsible for supporting the academic, emotional and spiritual growth of a diverse group of learners, including neurodiverse students and those with additional needs.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Proven experience teaching in the primary school setting or multi-age settings
- A deep passion for engaging students in their learning and supporting their wellbeing
- Strong skills in differentiation and inclusive education
- A willingness to support and uphold the Lutheran ethos of the school
- A collaborative, team-focused approach to teaching
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to set and maintain respectful boundaries with students, families, and colleagues
- An understanding of,
or openness to learn, the Berry Street Education Model, Playberry Literacy Program, and restorative practices
- A commitment to our Child Safe practices and policies
Requirements:
- Registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia (TRB SA)
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- RRHAN training certification
- Current first aid training is desirable
Term of Appointment
This is a Contract Position with a 0.4FTE - Term 3 and Term 4 2026 .
Salary
The salary paid will be that which is appropriate to the individual's level of experience as specified in the Teachers (Non- Government Schools) Award and the current Lutheran School Enterprise agreement.
Commencement of Duties
The successful applicant will be required to commence duties on the 4th of August 2026.
