The Chance
As a Principal Geo‑Environmental Engineer you’ll take on a pivotal leadership role—driving technical excellence, mentoring talent and building enduring client partnerships. You will get immediate exposure to complex, career‑defining projects across Queensland.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the design and delivery of complex geo‑environmental projects across:
- Landfill and containment systems
- Tailings and mining infrastructure
- Dams, embankments and earth structures
- Waste and resource recovery facilities
- Provide trusted technical leadership on high‑risk, high‑value projects
- Drive innovative, sustainable solutions that integrate environmental outcomes into major infrastructure
- Oversee project performance (technical, commercial, risk)
from concept through delivery
- Build long‑term client relationships across Queensland and nationally
- Mentor and grow a high‑performing multidisciplinary team
- Contribute to strategic growth and market positioning in geo‑environmental engineering
About You
- Degree in Civil, Geotechnical or Environmental Engineering
- 10+ years’ experience, ideally within consulting
- Strong background in waste and containment design (landfills, liners, leachate systems, geosynthetics)
- Proven capability in detailed design and technical review
- Experience with earthworks, dams, tailings and water management systems
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence key stakeholders
- Track record of winning work, building client trust or contributing to growth (highly valued)
