Volts Above Electrical is a growing electrical contractor based on Sydney's Northern Beaches. We work across high-end residential, commercial and government infrastructure projects throughout Sydney and regional NSW.

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced electrician to join us as a Leading Hand / Second in Charge (2IC).

This isn't just another tradesman role.

We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, leading apprentices, making decisions on site and helping build a business they can be proud of.

About the Role

You'll work directly alongside the business owner and become a key part of the leadership team.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Running jobs from start to finish
- Supervising apprentices and subcontractors
- Electrical installation, maintenance and fault finding
- Liaising with clients, builders and site supervisors
- Completing job documentation and site paperwork
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and safety
- Planning work and solving problems on site
- Helping improve systems and processes as the business grows

Our work includes:

- High-end residential homes
- Service and maintenance
- Commercial electrical
- Civil electrical
- Motorway lighting
- Traffic signal infrastructure
- Government electrical projects

No two weeks are the same.

Night Work & Away Work

Some of our infrastructure projects are completed at night when roads are closed.

There will also be occasional away work throughout NSW, with accommodation and applicable allowances provided.

If you enjoy a mix of local work, night projects and the occasional trip away,



this role offers plenty of variety.

Essential

- NSW Electrical Licence
- Current Driver Licence
- White Card
- CPR/LVR
- First Aid Certificate
- Excellent troubleshooting and fault-finding ability
- Strong communication skills
- Professional presentation

Highly Regarded

- EWP Licence
- Working at Heights
- Traffic Control
- Civil or infrastructure experience
- Service and maintenance experience
- HR Licence
