The Role

The ABC is seeking a Reporterto join the ABC North Coast team in Lismore. Working under the direction of the Editor,you'llcreate compelling content across multiple platforms, engage deeply with the localcommunityand deliver stories that resonate with both local and national audiences. This is an exciting prospect for an accomplished journalist who thrives in a fast-paced newsroom and is passionate aboutjournalism.

The Job

- Research, develop and produce high-quality news content for digital,audioand video platforms.
- Present news bulletins, interviews,packagesand breaking news coverage asrequired.
- Generate and deliver digital-first story ideas that drive audience reach and engagement.
- Build andmaintainstrong community networks toidentifyrelevant and impactful stories.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the ABC to share content and contribute to broader news coverage.
- Support local emergency coverage and respond effectively to major news events.

About You

You'rea passionate journalist who canidentify,developand deliver compelling stories across platforms.

You'llhave:

- Demonstrated journalism experience.




- Strong reporting,researchand interviewing capabilities, with proven editorial judgement.
- Experience in live presentation and broadcast, including breaking news environments.
- A current and valid driver's licence.
