Role purpose

As Head of Clinical Governance APAC, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of safe, high-quality healthcare across a growing and diverse healthcare portfolio spanning Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong. Partnering closely with senior leaders, Clinical Leads and Business Directors, you'll support in leading the maturity of clinical governance frameworks, systems and practices across the organisation. You'll champion a culture of clinical safety, continuous improvement, education and learning, ensuring consumers experience exceptional care and services.

This hybrid position is offered as permanent, full time and based from Bupa’s Melbourne offices.

What you’ll need to make it possible

This role is ideally suited to a senior manager with experience in Clinical Governance, Quality and Patient Safety looking to step into their first Head of Clinical Governance position and make a broader strategic impact.

In addition, you’ll bring to the role:

- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse ,



with 5–7 years' senior clinical experience in a hospital or acute healthcare environment.
- 3-5years' experience in clinical governance, quality, risk, patient safety or accreditation, with a track record of leading governance or quality improvement initiatives.
- Strong understanding of contemporary clinical governance principles , clinical risk management and continuous improvement.
- The ability to influence and partner with senior leaders, clinicians and stakeholders to drive change and improve outcomes.
- Strong analytical, communication and reporting skills, including the ability to translate clinical data and insights into meaningful actions.
- Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field will be highly regarded.
