Role details
The Information Communication and Technology department at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for an Administration Officer (Telecommunications) to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity
You will have the opportunity to provide and be accountable for delivering and managing a range of administrative support services related to Information Communication Technology including telecommunications, software and hardware, requests, purchasing, billing and management across the Mackay HHS.
This role will work closely with the Director of Information Communication Technology and the Information Communication Technology team to deliver and support the provision of daily activities within the Department.
The position is also required to ensure associated processes and documentation is maintained through high level administration support and ensure delivery of a professional customer based service with a focus on effective communication and positive outcomes.
About the Team
The Information Communication and Technology department is a team of predominantly technical staff working closely with the Digital and Information Management teams to provide advice and support to optimise patient care through the use of a contemporary Health Care environment.
