A well known Australian Brand is doing a major Greenfields UKG implementation and require experienced UKG specialists.

About The Role

This is a functional testing contract sitting at the heart of a UKG workforce management and payroll implementation. You'll work closely with the testing lead and programme team to build the test plan, coordinate UAT with business teams, and validate payroll outputs end to end. The programme is in early stage now, with test execution ramping from approximately September. People joining now get to shape how this is done.

Duties / Key Responsibilities

- Design and execute functional test cases across UKG workforce management and payroll processes
- Build and maintain the test plan and test schedule in line with programme milestones
- Run and reconcile parallel payroll processes and validate outputs
- Coordinate and facilitate user acceptance testing with business stakeholders
- Manage defect logging, triage and retesting through the full lifecycle
- Participate in daily stand-ups and Agile ceremonies
- Flex into adjacent delivery activities as required in a greenfield programme environment




- Early entry into a long-running programme with genuine extension prospects
- Real ownership of test planning and scheduling from day one
- Exposure to a large-scale, high-complexity payroll and workforce implementation
- Collaborative team with experienced programme leads
- Hybrid working with genuine flexibility outside peak periods

Skills and experience

- Demonstrated UKG, UKG PRO or Kronos testing experience, ideally in a payroll or workforce management context
- Solid functional testing background across the full test lifecycle
- Experience coordinating UAT with non-technical business users
- Minimum 5 years in software testing across large or complex programmes
- Solid defect management and test reporting capability
- Comfortable working across programmes with significant interdependencies
- SAP ECP, SuccessFactors or HCM background advantageous
- Any automation tooling exposure in a payroll context highly regarded
