This exciting and rewarding role in this industry-leading dynamic Clinic is part-time, variable in the range of 4-8 hours/day, 1-3 days / week, or casual, to suit the right candidate.
Duties and responsibilities- yup, its quite typical for this type of work!
Meet and greet patients
Answer phone, and emails,
Booking appointments, following up in queries,
Data entry into practice software,
Process payments via EFT, Medicare claims , Health Fund billings via portals,
Liaise with patients, doctors, practitioners, health funds, insurance companies, rehabilitation providers, GP’s, hospitals, staff, suppliers and other stakeholders, through phone calls, email and correspondence,
End of day banking reconciliations,
Filing,
Follow up accounts-receivable to ensure timely receipt of payments,
Review and send out doctor’s correspondence
Other administrative duties as requested by practitioners and supervisor,
Stationery orders,
Tidy reception area, waiting room and kitchens.
Mandatory requirements- yup, cos this is the job!
Previous medical / health reception / hospitality reception experience,
Knowledge of Blue Chip or other medical administrative software,
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel,
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with strong interpersonal skills,
Strong attention to detail,
Excellent time management skills!
Positive, friendly and qualified attitude
Able to commit to working during the above hours
