An outstanding chance awaits you! Our client, located in Edinburgh SA is looking for a full time Boilermaker-Welders / Metal Fabricators / Pressure Welders / Welders (First class).
About the Role:
A large engineering company is looking to employ a Boilermaker-Welders / Metal Fabricators / / Pressure Welders / Welders (First class) to manufacture, repair and fabricate various structural Steel products and pressure vessels and pipes.

About you:
We are seeking an experienced
Boilermaker-Welders / Metal Fabricators / / Pressure Welders / Welders (First class) with a strong work ethic who take pride in their work and can work alongside an established team.

To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following:
Qualified as a Boilermaker-Welder / Metal Fabricators / / Pressure Welders / Welder (First class) through an apprenticeship or equivalent.

AQF Certificate III including at least two years of experience or

At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications





Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements
Select, clean, and prepare metal stock
Cut marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines
Shape and bend metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, and by heating and hammering
Align parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments
Clean and smooth welds by filing, chiselling, and grinding

Assembles, welds and repairs pressure vessels and pipes

Able to work efficiently on your own or within a team setting
