Bold Park Aquatic Centre aims to provide a safe and friendly aquatic environment with its programmes and services accessible to a diverse range of patrons. It consists of a 10 lane 50m pool and a semi-enclosed leisure pool which includes four 20m lanes, open all year round.
The Role
Join the energetic and agile team at Bold Park Aquatic and play a key role in helping participants develop essential swimming and water safety skills. This position delivers high-quality instruction and customer service within the Swim Academy program, guided by the Royal Life Saving Society Continuum.
The successful applicants must be available to work weekend hours. For specifics of the proposed work hours, please contact Ellen O’Hara, Senior Programs Officer.
Selection Criteria
Experience teaching swimming lessons to a range of ages and ability levels.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in an organised manner in a busy workplace.
Ability to work mornings, afternoons and weekends.
Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety.
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate.
Teacher of Infant and Pre-School Aquatics is desirable.
Right to work in Australia (birth certificate, current passport or current visa).
National Police Clearance (no older than 3 months).
Working with Children Check.
