About the Organisation

Our client is a large, values-led organisation with a significant national workforce. An exciting chance has arisen for an experienced Workplace Relations Manager to lead workplace relations across a complex organisation on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

About the Role

Reporting into the People & Culture leadership team, you'll lead a high-performing Workplace Relations team while partnering with senior leaders across the organisation to manage complex employee relations matters and provide commercially sound workplace relations advice.

Key responsibilities include:
Leading and mentoring a high-performing Workplace Relations team.
Managing complex employee relations matters and providing expert advice to leaders.




Supporting organisational change initiatives and workforce projects.
Coaching leaders to build confidence and capability in managing people matters.
Managing employment risks and ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
Developing and improving workplace policies, processes and practices.
Identifying trends and recommending proactive people solutions.

About You
Extensive experience in Workplace or Employee Relations within a large, complex organisation.
Robust working knowledge of Australian employment legislation and Fair Work.
Proven experience leading complex workplace investigations and case management.
Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Excellent communication, coaching and relationship-building skills.
Tertiary qualifications in HR, Employment Relations, Law or a related discipline.
