An award-winning, dynamic and growing FMCG organisation with a super cool lifestyle brand, is seeking a Payroll Officer to join its payroll function on an initial six month contract in Adelaide or Sydney (Both Inner West Subs).

This would suit a payroll professional with 3 years end to end payroll experiencing who is a people person, reliable, detail-focused. Ideally they are looking for Chris 21 experience but if you don't have that it's a rare chance to be trained on this highly sort after payroll system!

NUTS & BOLTS
Deliver accurate and timely weekly and monthly payroll processing in line with established payroll schedules
Interpret and apply awards, enterprise agreements, employment contracts, and National Employment Standards




Maintain payroll data accuracy across Chris21 and associated time and attendance systems
Provide backup support to the Payroll Manager to ensure continuity of payroll delivery
Respond to payroll-related enquiries from employees and managers in a professional and timely manner
Support payroll reporting, reconciliations, and statutory compliance requirements
Contribute to payroll process improvements and system enhancements

ABOUT YOU
Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing within an award-based setting
Robust knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards, and compliance obligations
Experience using payroll systems such as Chris21 (Chris not essential but advantageous)
High attention to detail with the ability to manage deadlines effectively
A practical, cooperative approach with clear communication skills
