Role Overview
You will work under the guidance of the Director of Emergency Medicine, Specialist ED Consultants, and GP Supervisors. The role also involves supervising junior clinical staff and providing both formal and informal teaching opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Manage approximately 60,000 patient presentations annually, with a 20% admission rate.
Provide care at a tier 2 non-major referral centre accredited for 24 months of emergency medicine training.
Treat over 5,000 paediatric cases each year and manage the paediatric logbook accreditation.
Act as a regional trauma centre managing major trauma cases from road, farm, and industrial incidents.
Collaborate with specialties including Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Psychiatry, ICU, Plastics, Orthopaedics, Geriatrics, General Surgery,



and Medicine.
Work with a consultant team of FACEMs, sports medicine specialists, and GP anaesthetists, supported by skilled nurse practitioners.

Gain experience managing a broad spectrum of patient presentations and acuity levels.
