About your role

As the Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) – Endoscopy, you'll provide advanced clinical expertise while leading improvements in patient care, service delivery and clinical governance.

In this role you will:

- Provide advanced clinical leadership across Endoscopy Services.
- Coordinate and optimise Endoscopy patient waitlist management.
- Lead evidence-based practice, quality improvement and service redesign.
- Support Nurse Led Clinics and patient education initiatives.
- Mentor, coach and develop nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams.
- Monitor service performance, activity targets and key performance indicators.
- Develop and review clinical policies, procedures and work instructions.
- Collaborate with Metro South and statewide Endoscopy networks.
- Drive innovation to improve patient access, safety and clinical outcomes.
- Champion person-centred care across the Endoscopy service.

About you

You're an experienced Endoscopy clinician with exceptional leadership skills and a passion for improving patient outcomes.

You'll bring:

- Significant Endoscopy and Gastroenterology nursing experience.
- Advanced clinical assessment and critical decision-making skills.
- Strong understanding of GESIS and contemporary Endoscopy practice.
- Experience leading quality improvement and clinical governance initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to manage Endoscopy waitlists and performance targets.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience mentoring, coaching and educating nursing teams.




- Ability to influence change across multidisciplinary environments.
- Commitment to research, innovation and continuous service improvement.
