McLennan Electrical is a locally owned and operated electrical contractor based in Drouin and one of Gippsland’s leading commercial electrical contractors.

We work for some of the region’s largest and most respected builders, businesses and organisations, delivering commercial, industrial and specialist electrical services throughout Gippsland. We’ve built those long-term relationships by doing quality work and following through on what we say we’ll do.

About the Role

As the Lead Electrician, you’ll take ownership of projects on site while working closely with our Project Manager, builders, clients and apprentices.

You’ll be joining a team with more than 13 live commercial projects across Gippsland. These range from current school builds, Government department and VSBA projects, sporting pavilions, car dealerships and aged-care facilities, through to industrial maintenance works.

You’ll run the day-to-day electrical works, coordinate the team on site, maintain a high standard of workmanship and help keep projects safe, organised and on schedule.

You’ll also play an important part in mentoring apprentices and leading by example.





About You

Experience matters, but it isn’t the only thing we look at. Attitude, reliability and how you work with the rest of the team are just as important.

- Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence

- Current Driver’s Licence

- White Card

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills

- Ability to read and work from electrical drawings and plans

- A positive attitude and willingness to help the team

- High standards of workmanship and attention to detail

- High Risk Work Licences

- Working with Children Check
