We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team at our exclusive luxury property on Orpheus Island. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated hospitality professional who thrives in a hands-on leadership role and enjoys working in a unique remote environment.
About the Role
As Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction across the property. You will lead by example, working alongside your team while ensuring daily operations run efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and support the housekeeping team.
- Prepare and manage staff rosters to meet operational requirements.
- Order and maintain housekeeping supplies
- Ensure all guest rooms and public areas meet luxury presentation standards.
- Train, coach, and develop team members.
- Maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a Housekeeping Manager or Supervisory role.
- Experience working in a luxury hospitality environment, ideally at a remote resort or island property.
- Strong rostering and workforce planning skills.
- Experience with ordering, stock control, and inventory management.
- A hands-on leadership style with a willingness to work alongside your team.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- A positive attitude and commitment to delivering outstanding guest service.
