HarperLloyd Recruitment is partnering with a respected Gold Coast boutique law firm, to appoint a Family Lawyer (3+ PAE) into its growing Family Law practice.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a lawyer looking to combine high-quality work with genuine mentoring, a supportive culture and transparent career progression.
The role
Working within a collaborative Family Law team, you'll advise clients across matters including:
- Parenting disputes
- Property settlements
- Divorce
- Binding Financial Agreements
- Spousal maintenance
- Child support
- Domestic and family violence matters
- Mediation and negotiated settlements
- Family Court proceedings
You'll manage your own files while receiving support and mentoring from experienced senior practitioners, with opportunities to work on increasingly sophisticated matters as your career progresses.
About you
You'll ideally have:
- 3+ years' post-admission experience practising Family Law
- Experience managing a range of family law matters with appropriate supervision
- Excellent drafting, advocacy and communication skills
- Strong commercial judgement and client relationship skills
- A proactive, empathetic and collaborative approach
- A genuine desire to build a long-term career in specialist family law
Candidates from specialist family law firms or broader private practice backgrounds with solid family law experience are encouraged to apply.
