The position contributes to the efficient and effective operation of the Integrity Commission by managing the flow of misconduct matters through the Complaints and Oversight Unit.

Hours per fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight- flexible options available.
Duties
- Facilitate the Commission’s misconduct matter management process, particularly by:
- identifying key issues and allegations in complaints
- triaging complaints, notifications and referred matters
- undertaking analysis and research as required
- preparing correspondence
- Conduct assessments and audits and prepare reports related to misconduct matters in accordance with the Act (and applicable policies, practices and procedures).
- Manage and monitor information and records about misconduct matters on the Commission’s misconduct matters case management system and other relevant databases.
- Maintain effective communication and relationships with colleagues, complainants, public officers and public authorities, including liaison with senior public officers to obtain relevant information.
- Other duties relevant to the Complaints and Oversight Unit as required by the Manager, Complaints and Oversight and the Director Complaints and Oversight.
Qualifications
The successful appointee must satisfy:
- A security vetting process to obtain Baseline security clearance (access to classified information and resources up to and including PROTECTED). Australian citizenship is a requirement of security vetting.
- A pre-employment check about any disciplinary or managerial action in any previous employment.
- Experience in utilising and maintaining electronic case and/or management systems.
- Experience working in a legal, regulatory, complaints and/or confidential workplace.
