About the role

As our Assistant Park Manager - Hospitality Lead, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by leading the hospitality operations of the park. Working closely with the Park Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day hospitality offering, support the wider operations team and help create a welcoming, safe and memorable experience for every guest.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with a strong hospitality background who enjoys coaching teams, maintaining high service standards and ensuring the smooth operation of a busy tourism venue.

What your average day will look like:





- Leading the park's hospitality operations, ensuring exceptional customer service at every touchpoint.

- Supervising the café, retail and guest service areas to maintain high presentation and service standards.

- Inspiring, coaching and supporting a high-performing cross functional team.

- Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of all team members across the park including hospitality .

- Monitoring food safety, hygiene and compliance with all hospitality regulations.

- Managing stock levels, ordering supplies and minimising wastage.

- Supporting daily park operations and collaborating with the operations team to ensure a seamless guest experience.

- Delivering guest safety briefings and assisting with park operations when required.

- Completing operational checks, reporting and administrative tasks.

- Ensuring all safety procedures, policies and company standards are consistently followed.

About you

You are an experienced hospitality leader who is passionate about creating outstanding guest experiences and leading from the front.

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in hospitality, tourism,



food & beverage or a similar customer-focused environment.

- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.

- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene and hospitality compliance.

- Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and peak tourism periods is essential.

- Experience within the tourism, attractions or adventure tourism industry will be highly regarded.

Preferably, the successful candidate will either have or be willing to obtain:

- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate

- A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)

- A Working with Children Check

- Current First Aid and CPR qualifications
