Position Overview

Registered Nurse – Scrub/Scout at Buderim Private Hospital, Sunshine Coast, QLD. Employment Term: permanent full‑time, part‑time or casual opportunities available. Pay $42.50 – $54.62 per hour with super and NFP salary packaging.

Responsibilities

- Accountable for the provision of safe and holistic care to patients undergoing a range of procedures.
- Deliver person‑centred care and collaborate with the multidisciplinary theatre team.
- Apply best clinical practice, maintain a safe environment, and optimise patient outcomes.
- Adapt to a busy, clinically complex environment and be flexible to work all shifts.

Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years post‑graduate experience as a Scrub Scout.
- Orthopaedic experience.
- Bachelor of Nursing degree or equivalent.
- Current AHPRA practising certificate as a Registered Nurse.
- Adaptability and resilience in a busy, clinically complex environment.
- Commitment toward the mission of UnitingCare Hospitals and the goals of the Nursing Division.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety practices.
- Willingness to obtain required vaccinations, national criminal history check and functional assessment.
