Origination & Maintenance is a team within our Equity Market Operations division whose objective is to service the origination and maintenance needs of Share Trading clients in particular the establishment of equity trading, cash, equity derivative accounts as well as servicing client’s maintenance needs on those accounts.

What Will You Be Doing

As a Share Trading Origination and Maintenance Associate, you would be responsible for processing maintenance requests on behalf of our customers, as well as the creation of new accounts. Our team operates off an inbox request system, ensuring we support our customer requests within a timely manner.

Other Responsibilities Include

- The establishment of various trading accounts such as share trading and cash accounts as well as performing origination and maintenance tasks for White label Trading solutions
- Applying AML/KYC procedures when on-boarding customers
- Practicing prudent risk management by identifying and responding to business risks




- Record rework and work with team members/Management to develop/design/implement process improvements to address root cause of rework issues
- Live the continuous improvement/productivity ethos to deliver tangible results
- Providing superior levels of internal and external customer service by responding to and managing customer and stakeholder enquiries, complaints and issues
- Completing general administrative duties as required

You Will Have

- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities with a strong deadline orientation
- Ability to identify risks and elevate when required
- Are self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ideally you will also have a relevant tertiary degree in Finance, Commerce, Business or Economics
- Previous project experience is preferred
