Lake Tyers Early Learning Centre and Kindergarten was established during the 1990’s and has provided childcare for over 20 years at Lake Tyers Aboriginal Trust. It is a 34 place long day care centre and funded sessional Kindergarten program, with dedicated educators delivering high quality education and care to the children of Lake Tyers Aboriginal Trust and surrounds.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator (Cert III educators will be considered) to join our Early Years team across our Child Care and Kindergarten programs in our unique setting:

- one full time ongoing (permanent) position

This position includes some travel on our bus to pick up and drop off children before and after childcare and kindergarten.

Award: Lake Tyers Health & Children’s Services EBA

Salary: As per EBA

Time Fraction: 38 hours per week

Work Place: Lake Tyers Early Learning Centre & Kindergarten

Essential requirements

- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent (Cert III applicants will be considered)

- Working With Children Check





- High level of understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards and Child Safe Standards

- First Aid Certificate (Education and Care Setting or equivalent) or willing to obtain

- Drivers Licence

- Applicants should be willing to obtain Bus Driver Accreditation and be part of the bus roster
