Due to retirement, we are looking for an experienced and passionate teacher for this fulltime ongoing role, with the opportunity for the successful applicant to be considered for the promotional responsibility as the Mathematics Gifted & Talented Coordinator for a fixed term. Commencement date is Term 1 2027.

The St Mary’s Mathematics Department is committed to developing knowledge and skills in the mathematical field throughout the Senior School. Mathematics teachers are responsible for implementing learning activities that actively engage and extend students in meaningful educational experiences. This role will teach Mathematics across all year levels and streams including ATAR and Mathematics Specialist, and be responsible for a Senior School Link Pastoral Care group.

The successful applicant will have:

- experience teaching Year 11 and 12 Mathematics.

- the ability to provide a stimulating learning environment,



with effective teaching and assessment practices

- a sound understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum

- familiarity with ICT and the use of technology in the classroom

High consideration will be given to candidates with experience teaching Mathematics Methods and/or Specialist and those with an understanding of educational issues in an all-girls' environment.
