Facility Manager (RN) - Aged Care - Darling Downs region

We are on the lookout for a hands-on Facility Manager for a beautiful and well-run home in the Darling Downs region. Taking over from a long-standing Manager who has put her heart into this home. There's also plans to expand so would be a great opportunity for someone to gain commissioning experience

Overview

- Medium sized aged care facility
- AHPRA RN required
- $145-$150k + super + salary packaging
- Relocation assistance
- Local candidate ideal or someone who is QLD based

- Supported by a Clinical Manager and x2 Clinical Nurses
- Very good pre-existing relationships with GPs in the area
- Looking for a hands-on Service Manager who will walk the floor regularly and have an open-door policy.
- Experience with commissioning would be an added bonus as they will be extending their home next year.

About the Role

As the Facility Manager you will oversee:

- Overseeing operational management of the facility.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire clinical and care teams to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care.




- Oversee clinical governance, accreditation, and compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Manage rostering, budgets, and staffing to ensure productive and effective service delivery.
- Collaborate with residents, families, and allied health professionals to support holistic wellbeing.
- Drive continuous improvement and foster a culture of learning and compassion.

About You

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse - Essential
- Proven experience in an aged care leadership role
- Solid tenure in previous roles
- Strong knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards, clinical governance, and compliance frameworks.
- Up to date on the changes to the Aged Care Standards - essential
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting older Australians and leading by example.
- Someone who align with their values and implement them day to day in their work
