Job Summary

ERM is seeking Senior Contaminated Land Consultants in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide to support our services in the mining, government and oil & gas sectors. Candidates should bring significant consulting experience to provide technical leadership, strategic direction, people skills and robust project management. Your expertise will be applied to solve complex challenges for all clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand client needs and deliver sustainable outcomes and closures.
- Initiate and lead sales efforts, including proactive business development, proposal writing and delivery.
- Manage large, complex, multidisciplinary projects.
- Produce, oversee and review the compilation of technical project reports.
- Manage and mentor multiple project teams.
- Lead mentoring of junior consultants’ careers.
- Utilise established networks, internally and externally, to benefit ERM and client delivery.

Requirements

- Bachelor or Master’s degree in earth science, environmental science, engineering, planning or related field.




- 10+ years of consulting experience with contaminated sites, including work in the mining, oil and gas, manufacturing, infrastructure or development sectors within the WA market.
- Existing client contacts and a sound knowledge of the local Perth/WA market.
- Understanding of local regulatory context, including established relationships with regulatory stakeholders.
- Business acumen to understand business risk and challenges and recognise corporate opportunities.
- Demonstrable track record in delivering sales results annually, including successfully winning large and strategic projects.
- Proven experience mentoring and growing a team of consultants to produce high‑performing teams.
- Authorisation to work in Australia.
